Rough Ride

I have a new EZGO ST 2+2. THe thing rides like a tank. I have the 22" tires at 12#. Anyone have suggestions on how to soften it up?

Help my back is killing me

Try airing the tires down until you like the ride. 6 psi will soften it up.

Thank God I'm not the only one, 05 ST 350 2+2 with axle type lift 23" All Trails and rides like POOP. I'm tired of it, so tomorrow I'm looking at a long travel kit, probably like Jakes. I hope that solves the problem.
Airing down the tires works somewhat but it wears the tires out BADLY on the street!!!!! Wish me luck NSF

If you have heavy duty springs, try taking out a leaf or 2. Those HD springs really stiffen up the ride.

As far rear springs go, I am down to 2 leafs from 5 to try and soften the ride. It was so stiff that 2 grown men hardly made a dent. I tried running 5 lbs air and it was ruining my tires outside tread so watch that. I usually am by myself so it only made sense to make it softer. Buying the Jakes long travel (#6210) tomorrow and hopefully the stiff ride will be gone!! NSF

That may be one cure, but I must point out that there is probably a cheaper fix. Of course, you want a long travel suspension.

Come try the one I just got , 14" lift 14" wheels and the rear shocks are square tubing , solid lock , I'm changing that when I get a chance to.

Not really but I DO WANT A SOFTER RIDE!!!!! The Jake's long travel is what just about everybody has suggested hence that's what I'm getting but way too much $$$$$$$$ IMO but supposed to be good quality right?? Just so it works. NSF PS also found out my buggy is not a 350, just a ST 2+2
