Reverse

Is the any way to get more power in reverse? I have 97 cc 48 volts.

I believe the newer Club Cars with controllers are limited to half speed by the controller. As far as I know the only way to eliminate it is with a aftermarket controller like a Alltrax. I'm not positive on this so maybe someone else will chime in...

most all golfcarts have 1/2 speed reverse..............safty featrure.....................................................

On the older Club Cars you can move a wire on the battery pack to get full voltage in reverse.

Mine is a 97 controller. From the switch it has 3 wires going to motor and 1 to controller. I was told it could be changed to have more power in reverse by moving some wires. The problem is sometimes if i go off road and need to back out of a hole or up a slight hill it has a hard time.I have plenty of power in forward. It will climb just about anything.Thanks for all your replies
