reverse unexpected

going forward it will suddenly slow down and go into reverse when i take my foot off the accelerator and push it down again it will take off again and it may be a day befor it does it again

THE CART IS A EZ-GO 2002 TXT WITH A SPEED CHIP IN IT , THE BATTERIES ARE 4 YEARS OLD BUT CHARGE UP NICE ( TROGANS ) T 105 .
WHERE IS A GOOD PLACE TO BUY BATTERIES ON-LINE ? I'AM IN FLORIDA

I've seen one other PDS cart with this problem and it wound up being a bad controller. You can try putting the cart in diagnostic mode them drive it until you get a trouble code.

As far as new batteries go you're better off finding them local. Shipping is a killer on batteries.

I replaced all 6 of my for 100 bucks apiece at Batteries Plus. I was told Sams Club has them for 75. I went with Batt+ because of the warranty.
