Reverse Issue

On my 95 48 volt i started having a reverse issue over the weekend. When I put it in reverese and press the accelerator it starts out good and fast and then it slows to a snails pace. If I let off the accelerator and hit it again it will do the same thing. The cart runs fine in forward. It is a problem I can live with but would love to know what is causing it.

could be in the F&R switch and if its a regan cart it could be one off the micros in the F&R or could be in the multi step pot but start at the F&R and those micro,s.........try and findf a wiring diagram for your cart...............big help............do yopu have a lever to switch from F&R or do you have a rocker switch? those rocker switches have been known tpo go bad.........................
