Removing Fan Hub on 295cc Engine

I've removed the fan hub nut on my 1999 E-Z-Go 295cc Engine (still in the cart) but I'm not able to remove the fan hub itself. The Engine Shop Manual from E-Z-Go says I need to use a "E-Z-Go Fan Hub Puller" but no one has every heard of one. Please help.

I don't think you need a puller on a 99. The earlier models required a puller thats available from EZGO. Try tapping lightly with a hammer it while pulling on it...

Thank you for your reply. I've tried tapping, pulling with both hands, lightly prying with a screw driver on the fan itself on either ends of the shaft, spraying with WD-40 with no luck. The only thing I can think of is that it has been on there for 10-years and needs the help of some type of puller to help it along.
