Regenerative Brake

I have a Brand New - 2-Seater for now - Club Car Onward with Trojan Batteries. First l am wondering if anyone has a link to an owners manual? The Dealer says they do not. Looking for rear seat as well if anyone knows of one.

However the real reason I decided to Post was because of the Regenerative Braking. I never owned a Cart before however drove many. If you are driving at a decent speed and let go of the Accelerator the cart stops so suddenly and violently the driver and passengers are thrown forward and if not expecting, thrown from the seat. My wife refuses to drive it. I am wanting to eliminate completely, do not care one iota about the regenerative attributes and cannot be convinced otherwise.

Question: is the only way to eliminate or extremely limit the capabilities is using the Diagnostic tools? Any idea which device and source for the equipment? I heard speed limitations can be adjusted as well, any other known?

I called the dealer > 100-Milesaway who said they were not certain but believe the charge is $275-$300 - INSANE.....

Thanks for allowing me to become part of this Forum. Look forward to long positive relationship,

Welcome & Wow!
Nice advertisement and reason "not to buy a "Brand New" Club Car.
Sounds like Club Car has a tail light WOKE warranty, when you see them, the warranty is over, 275 - 300, 100 miles, Brand New, not to mention no operators manual.
The only thing you "didn't mention" was the dealership you bought it from.
Hopefully you'll get your answer, alot of smart heads on here.
Good luck!

That dealer should be ashamed of themselves, you could darn near buy your own programmer (Curtis 1313) for that. It literally takes 2 minutes to plug in and change pedal up to 0, then no more regen. After spending a considerable amount to buy a new golf cart you think they'd do it for free, but regardless certainly shouldn't be over $100. I'd suggest finding a different dealer.

They should also be well aware you can get an owners manual directly from club car here:

Or a google search may bring up the correct manual without having to enter your info. If they really were a real Club Car dealer they would have manual download access and could have easily emailed it to you.

That dealer sounds like an absolute joke, it's boneheads like that who make people want to steer clear of shops only to get themselves huge repair bills after DIY fails for something a reputable shop could have taken care of affordably

Thanks, I have tried that website many times and it can never find the serial number??? Dealer said it is because it is not "Registered" yet.

Use a mirror or take a phone video and look on the frame cross member directly below where the brake cables connect to the equalizer and brake rod. See if that serial number matches the one on the floorboard, and if not check if it is valid.
