Rebuilding E-Z-GO Engine

It looks like I'll be rebuilding the top end on my 1991 E-Z-GO engine. Should I do the lower rebuild too? I can do the top end but not sure about the lower is there anything I should know to make it easy? how to do it?? thanks.

if it ran at all the way it is now most likely the bottom end, seals etc are ok. the cyl is pretty easy to install. have ya ever done one?

its never ran since ive had it its been sittin at my work for the past 2-3 yrs so i bought it real cheap and its got no compression i can do the top but the bottom not sure about i dont wanna have to go back later and do this all over again if the seals go bad,just not sure where to start and end with the bottom ive never done it but you gotta learn sometime right? lol

if its been sittin' i'd say you need to do both ends and the carb, download or get a manual so ya can see what your in for, its not hard ya just need to take your time.

where can i download a manual? ive taken the carb off and cleaned it real good, any special tools im gonna need to rebuild the lower end?
