Rebuild transaxle ?

I have a spare transaxle that best I know is just fine except the shifter is about stuck.
My question is, how hard is it to rebuild or open it up, fix that issue and take out the governor assy ?
And I think DirtySouth said they made a locker or pos rear diff ? What year/model would that be and does anyone have one ?

They’re pretty simple. You can remove governor and plug it or just leave it unhooked. I was talking about Lincoln locker. Weld up spider gears and away you go lol

I would but I bet I'd mess up the turning radius.
Thought you said one of the non golf models you could get like a cable locker for ?

I have a 272 with the locker but it's quite a bit wider than cart axle

Could it fit inside of a std cart assy ?

So the Club Car Carryall just has beefed and wider axle tubes, but is the transaxle center assy the same ?

Totally different rear end. Depends on model of carryall. Most are same as cart as far as I know

Just a guess but I'd say it's probably 10" wider than a cart rear

Idont about the whole axle, Just the locking diff. But if it won't fit into my axle I'll just keep it as is.

Totally different transaxle. Someone makes a locker I can't remember who and I think it's electric only.
