Rear End

I recently bought a 2002 golf cart and I have had no problems until now. The rear end bounces when you drive. It feels like it coming from the passenger rear wheel, but the wheel looks normal. The bounce is actually more like a dip and I it happens once every revolution. What could be causing this?

I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting, since I do not have any experience with golf carts. If you need any more info, let me know.

Thanks

Check the tires, if it's set for awhile and if they went flat you may have had mud dobbers build in the tire (they build thier nests out of mud) making it off balance, I would check the wheel and hub as well to rule out any "bent" issue

Ok, I think I have it fixed. Yesterday when I checked the tires, they were visibly fine, even when I put weight on them. I decided to check the tire pressure and one of the rear tires had 0 pressure, but it didn't go flat. I don't know if it is normal for the tires to appear normal even though they have no pressure, but that was the case with mine. I filled them up with air and it rides fine again.

Thanks for the help.

If the tire had no air but didn't look flat they must be some aweful hard tires. How does it ride?

Same thing just happened to my cart. Tire looked just a little low. Turns out it only had 4 psi so I serviced it up to 22 psi along with the other tires.

It is always good to keep an eye on your tire pressure. Low pressure can take 15 minutes of ride time away and also burn through your tire sidewalls.

Links has a thick walled tire just for that reason, just in case u do get a flat. i think its a Links I type tire, may get a little more time out of your batt pack with aired tires, ezgo suggests 22-28 psi
