rattle in rear end or motor?

When I am driving my cart, especially at a cruising speed there is a rattle noise coming from the back (maybe rear end or motor). It doesn't seem to affect the running of it, but I am not sure what it might be. Has anyone else had the problem or have you heard of it?

Hi welcome to the forum.

Not sure what year or type of cart you have but if it's a later model Club Car DS you may need a motor centering kit.

The cart is a club car DS model 1999 if that helps. I just bought it and do not know anything about them. Thanks

The noise you say you hear is a pretty common problem with the Club Car DS's. I'm pretty confident the motor centering kit will solve the problem. It costs about $15.00 and comes with instructions. You do have to remove the motor to install it.
