Question About Different Size Club Car Engine

I am new at this and have a question. I have a 1998 club car gas and I understand there are two different motors, how do I tell what motor do I have in my cart.

Is there a cc or size of that motor.

It should say on the side of the motor. fe290 or fe350.

If its a DS it will be a FE290 if its stock.
