protecting motor wires

I have an EZGO Marathon w/ 22'' tires and 6" lift. My problem is at my deer lease there is a lot of loose timber laying around and twice now I have had wires pulled loose from the motor after i ran over some sticks. Is there anything out there (skid plate) that I can install that would protect the wires and motor? Or has anyone ran into this problem and has a solution?

Thanks

if your handy with some tin knocking i dont think it would be to hard to do and you'll be able to share with others what you have done

you could probably use some light weight expanded metal that way if dirt, leaves or any other small items got in they could fall through and you could also wash the engine compartment out if needed. you could even use this under the floor board area wires there also. this stuff is easy to work with and can be mounted with rivets or bolts with washers makes it kinda simple.

Yeah, Thats what I was thinking. I just thought there might be something out there already designed.

Thanks for the input

I'm kinda tight want to do as cheap as possible even though i would probably be a little easier with a pre-fab job.

yea your right about that just thought that the owner may want to try to protect some of the other exposed areas also and still be able to clean it out if needed.

Re-run in plastic conduit "tied" tighter to frame? I question solid skid plate. You need the all the ventalation for cooling, I would think.
