Problem With Club Car Battery Charger

I just bought a Club Car golf cart and the guy had let it set for about 6 months and I'm having a problem with the battery charger. I can not get the battery charger to come on. I charged them with a regular battery charger to get some juice in them so maybe the cart charger would come on. How much does the whole pack need to turn on the charger. I have 45.6 volts in them should this be enough or do I need to keep charging. It is a 2001 48 volt system.

That should be enough voltage to let the charger start. Does the cart move? Check all the cable connections and make sure they're clean and tight.

Yes the golf cart will move I took all of the cables loose and cleaned them and put them back. I am going to take the cover off of the charger tonight and see if anything looks odd. Is there something that I should look at in there?

I took the cover off of the charger and found the problem. The plug that hooks to the cart is not hooked up inside the charger. I do not see where they were hooked in. I will put up some pics.

Thanks

Go to the Lester Electrical website and you can find the right diagram.
The two troubleshooting guides have wiring diagrams near the end of the files.

If you can't find the right diagram there give them a call or email them. They will send you the diagram. I thought I had one here but can't seem to find it. I'll keep looking.

I got in touch with Lester Electrical and they sent me a wiring diagram for the battery charger. I got it all put back together and it still doesn't work, guess I have problem else where.
