problem wit run time

I have a 2005 Club car, precedent, 48 volt. I just put in 4 new AC 12 volt batteries. After charging the cart, I can only get 17 holes of golf without running out of juice. At full charge, I get a reading of 52.8 volts ( slightly over 13 volts per battery) but it seems to run down too soon. Any ideas about what I should do? Thanks for any help.

Help us out, can you give us a little more information on your batteries.
Did you use AC Delco cranking batteries?

The batteries are AC Delco, ACD31TS, deep cycle batteries. They are the same size as the old batteries in length and width but about an inch shorter in height.

Chances are it's the batteries causing the run time problem. You need actual golf cart batteries. The only 2 companies I know of the make 12 volt golf cart batteries is Trojan and US Battery...

The DC31 is a Marine Battery.

The battery that you have ADC31TS is a Heavy Duty Commercial. Not a deep cycle.

Take them back. They are not designed for the excessive recharging.

Trojan Batteries are my #1 choice.

Good Luck.

IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF QUALITY AND DURABILITY OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT BATTERYS OF THE SAME BRAND JUST PICK THEM UP AND THE HEAVIEST ONE IS BEST ( MORE LEAD ) OLD MECHANICS TEST.
