I recently purchased a Precedent 2007. It came with the stretch plastics light kit installed but the owner says it doesn't work. I went to install a new light kit with direct wiring to the 12 pin harness and noticed that whomever installed the stretch plastics kit cut the two wires from the cart harness and spliced them to the Stretch wires which go to the lights! So now I have 2 wires cut from the harness. When installing the new light kit should I cut the two wires from the light kit harness and directly splce them to the cart harness and then connect the male and female harness together?
