Park brake adjustment

I need to adjust my brakes / parking brake. I just installed the 6" spindle lift and HD leafs and had to un hook the brake cables. They were wired up to the frame and in order to reach the new height I had to unwire them to get them to hook back up. Now my brake pedal is very soft. It works ok just too soft. I need to adjust it to get more tension back in it.
Anyone have experiece with this??

There's an adjustment for the cables were they come together by the brake pedal under the cart. Tighten the nut to get the slack out of the cables. Spray a little penetrating oil on the threads of the cable adjuster before you start...

Thanks. I saw where the two cables come to the spring plate in the middle. I take it there is a nut on each one at that point and all I need to do is tighten them?

There's one nut in the center of the two cables for the adjustment.
