Old Golf Cart

I have an old golf cart I am trying to restore. I don't know what kind it is, there is no name plate on it anywhere. It's a three seater, 36v. I think it's quite old because the controller consists of 4 solenoids and a coil resistor. Can anyone help. Thanks Andy

Thanks so much! I'll post a picture, when I figure it out. But the only tag I can find is on the electric motor and the numbers go like this... SBC 48 JB 715 2800 2 36 55 60 min 40 B Series 48 3122 AWN

Also I have checked a lot of wiring diagrams, none are identical, but the ones that come the closest are EZ GO, Melex and the Runabout.
Thanks

I don't think that one worked. I'll try again.
Yep, I think I got it.

I have no clue what it is, but I see a lot of potential there. Now to be nosey, do you live near New Hope, PA? I looked at your other pics and I've seen that New Hope & Ivyland loco before.

It looks like an old ezgo shuttle. The forward/reverse switch is ezgo. If you can find and post the serial # it will help. That is a nice project cart for sure.

No Gonzo, I live in North Central Florida, (It's warm and rainy), and the cart is from around St. Petersburg.
Anyway, the other day my wife was looking around the Cartaholics website and stumbled on some wiring diagrams that I had not seen before. Now I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know where they are.

Each cart manufacturer forum has a resource forum with that brands wiring diagrams etc. Let me know if you need more help finding it.

I don't recognize the body but the diff looks like a Terrell diff from 1975 to ~1980 Club Car Caroche. Can you tell if that is a Baldor motor? The solenoid package is similar to Caroche from that same time period. Considering the age keep in mind it is possible someone has changed it from factory. It looks like it has hydraulic brakes as well which is another indicator of Terrell diffs.

Good luck with your discovery!

Bingo

Thanks, Nate. Thats the closest I've seen. The only difference is mine has a rotory type accelerator switch and the wiring diagram shows a series of limit switches.

Thanks, Andy

Hey Andy! I am not sure what type of rotary switch you have but the old Caroche carts had a rotating cylinder of plastic with notches that tripped micro-switches at different throttle positions. This cylinder was connected with actual linkage rather than cable and just happened to be the correct throw for a PB-6, which made these carts especially easy to convert to electronic control.
