oil light

Anyone know why the oil light keeps coming on and off . When i put the pedal to the floor it will come on then when I let off the gas pedal it goes back off. Its got new oil and oil filter. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? Thanks

I have the same issue just changed oil and put in Royal Purple 15w40 synthetic oil figured it was a good oil and a little heavier weight for hot weather. I hope its not the oil at 16 dollars a litre.

The oil sending unit is in the front of the engine, as long as the oil is full you should be fine.
