When I turn on the key and depress the pedal nothing happens...there is no voltage at the key switch (blue wire)...I have voltage everywhere else.. I have 37.4 volts on both sides of the large posts on the solenoid...what triggers voltage to the key switch?...I have trouble shooted using the maintenance manual and it seems to be pointing to the solenoid...any help would be apprecated .

It sounds like you have more than one problem.

Have you checked the reed switch? - This may be why you have no voltage at the key switch.

Is the 37.4 volts on both large terminals of the solenoid only with the pedal pressed or all the time.

Have you tripled checked all wiring with the wiring diagram from your other post?

With the key on and NOT pressing the go pedal do you still have voltage on both large terminals of the solenoid?

The Reed switch is a safety interlock. If the charger handle is plugged into the cart a magnet in the handle forces the switch to open and this kills the cart. It can be bypassed permanently, but from now on you should loop your charger cord thru the steering wheel to remind you it is still plugged in.

There is nothing funnier than a cart driving down the lane with it's own charger dragging behind!
