I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM SO HELLO TO EVERYONE! I HAVE A 98 NON DCS THAT FOR SOME REASON ONLY HAS HIGH SPEED. IT TAKES OFF VERY HARD ALMOST SPINNING THE BACK TIRES AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IT WILL NOT GO SLOW. IT SEEMS LIKE ITS FULL POWER OR NOTHING AND THE BATTERIES ARE NOT LASTING AS LONG. tHE CONECTIONS ARE ALL CLEAN AND THE BATTERIES TEST GOOD EVEN UNDER A LOAD. ANY IDEAS

I'd test the ITS for starters.

With the negative lead of your volt meter on the negative post of the battery pack the black wire going into the ITS should have 14 volts. The white wire should have .5 volts with no throttle and 1.5 volts at full throttle.

Post the results and we'll go form there...

could also be the controller. I had a cart the other day that was doin the same thing. It was a PDS and only had full throtle in forward. Turned out to be the controller. Only half of it was working properly......th high end.
