Noise In Steering Column

2007 Club Car Precedent has noise in steering column. I'm getting a noisy squawk from the steering column like a dry bearing or whatever. All grease points under cart are freshly greased. Any ideas? and if I need to remove the steering wheel and grease something what is the procedure? thanks

there is a bushing in the top of the column that you can try a little grease or oil on. you need to take the steering wheel off to get to it.

That sounds like it could be the problem. Is it easy enough to remove the steering wheel or are parts going to fly?
