03 cant figgure out whats going on new batteries and cables no power batt has 36 volt coming out

Where's the forward and reverse switch on the dash or by your leg? Does the reverse alarm work when you put the cart in reverse?

yes it works and its on the dash cant jump solenoid does nothing ? i have 36 volts at motor on small wires is this correct?
when i bought i was told it just needed batteries i hooked up no power but after investigation the positive was hooked up to b- on controller and ground hooked to solenoid i didnt have no beep sound or anything after a while of research i found out it was wired wrong then followed wiring diagram and now i have beep sound in reverse ?

i also checked switch under gas peddle floor board i bypassed the switch and nothing
when u have beep sound does this mean the controller is working ?
? when key is on and u give gas should the solenoid click?
