No Gas To Carb

Hello All, New to the site and have a question on the fuel pump on an 1988 EZ-GO. I just bought a fuel pump for this cart and still will not pump gas to the carb. I have pulled the carb apart and cleaned main jet and air bleed, checked the crank seal, and cleaned the lines from tank to pump. Is there somthing I'm missing? Turn the motor over and the fuel filter never fills. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the welcome, I have checked the tube in the tank, replaced all fuel line, put new pump on,and cleaned the carb. Still will not pump.I have seen alot of talk about crank seals but everything that is talked about the cart still runs but not well. Any other things to look for? Thanks

Try pulling the gas line off the carb and crank the engine and see if you get anything. If the crank seals are leaking they can cause no gas to pump.

Pulled line off after fuel pump, cranked several times for about 30 sec.nothing. Should i replace the crank seals and if so how involved is this? Any special tools needed? Thanks again I appreciate the help.

You'll need a clutch puller. Have you done a compression test. Low compression can also cause this. Try cranking it over with the gas cap off. maybe the vent is clogged.

If you're sure you have a good pump installed correctly, all gas lines are good, pick up is working in the tank, good compression and cap vent working I'd say it's the seals.

My 1988 had a bad fuel pump, I rebuilt it, but I still had to "create" flow before it would ever draw. Human suction

Not reccommended, but it worked.....
