newly acquired cart

I recently acquired a yamaha cart for the grandkids and need some info. It's a suncruiser, with a newer motor. The frame number is J50-500218. The only number I can find on the motor is on the block it is J-38 and 285cm (cubed). Can anyone tell me year of the frame or motor?

Going by the number you posted I think the cart is a 1995. I can't help with the engine. Maybe someone else with more Yamaha experience will chime in...
