I have a 1977. I was gonna offer parts to you, but looks like you have it covered. Some of old timers 😜 on here may remember my cart. I still have the baby moons, with the Westinghouse underlined W on them.
I'm in the process of building Frankenstein ... Marketeer and Honda Trx300ex2. Hoping to get about 60mph out of it.
I bought RZR seats for mine, too. I stretched the frame 2 feet, so I could put the seats in the floor. Of course, everything is fab. 🙄🤔🙃🤪

Gonna take me a while, I wanna build doors, convertible top, 21" street tires and 12" rims, etc. MVD gave me the go ahead, so I can plate it.
Sorry, I'm not trying to hijack your thread!! The Marketeer is my favorite cart body style.
Keep doing what you are, it looks great!

Nice build! If they were the later nordco hub caps my buddy needs one lol. If you have the stock axle shafts that are straight I might be able to use those, mine has a bit of a hop in the rear ;-). other then that I think I'm all set on parts other then little crap.

I'm in AZ. I have the whole rear axle assembly. All of the motor and electronics. It was running when I parked it. I pulled the batteries out and put them in another cart I was selling. I actually bought this cart, to do this to, about 15 years ago. Finally getting around to it.

By the way, you can run 60v to that motor, actually Nate told me 72v, I never tried it. I had 2 large 12v diesel batteries that I added, in series, after the last solenoid. Just sat em on the back 🤪. It would lay rubber on smooth concrete.

I'm in cali about 4-5 hours from the Phoenix area. Depending on where in AZ I might be able to come pick it up if travel restrictions arent in place. I put in all new solenoids and refurbished the speed controller.

Good to know about over bolting the motor I was wondering about that as well I have at least one extra battery to try it out with, so you just wire it in series on the wire that goes from the last solenoid to the motor? I have room for extra batteries since I just did 3-12s to be on the cheap side and I don't need much range. The first solenoid barely moves it so that would help too.

Thanks for the tips

Another question on adding the extra batteries. did you just charge them separately or did you upgrade your charging system some how?

Thanks again

I had to charge them separately. I had couple 12v chargers and would throw them on at the same time I was charging the 36v pack. I would think if you ran 72v (2-36v) you could use 2-36v chargers. I believe if someone had a 72v charger, all batteries would have to be the same size, to get a balanced charge.

Havent posted in a while, but made some progress. Next step is installing the step down voltage converter and wiring all the 12v lights and accessories.

Got more done on the wiring and lights tonight. Also painted the axle and stearing links a few days ago.
