O.k. so I'm new here, I think I found the forum I've been looking for to do this project!!! So here's the story my neighbor was about to junk this old golfcart and I said "nah man give it to me I need a new project"

So I now have this heap in my garage and I'd like to either somehow put an old motorcycle engine in there or go with a snowmobile engine??? Its pretty rusted out but it looks like I'll have to tear out and fab up a new rear end anyway b/c of the motor setup I want.. But like I said I'm new to golfcart building, but pretty good w/ tools and welders.. Here's some pics of what I'm working with...

Hell yeah now thats gonna be a fast ride!! I'm thinking of welding in a 4 wheeler rear end and mounting a motorcycle engine making it a simple chain drive. Using like an old 400cc or more streetbike motor.
 
Thanks!! I'll keep you posted, it might be a little bit before I get hard into it.. I got to finish up my Jetski project before I start this. I'll be reading around and asking questions.
