New Batteries but still trouble

I just put new batteries in the wifes cart but now it does nothing. The batteries are charged with good voltage but I am not getting a thing when I turn the key & press the pedal. I am looking for any ideas, the wife is about to drive me nuts without her cart. Thanks

Thanks for the welcom. I figured it out, I guess when I put the batteries in I lost a wire. I found the wire & hooked it up & it runs like a champ.
