Needle on Club Car Battery Charger Won't Move

Ok guys, I have a 99 Club Car DS. The batteries are 6 month old Trojans. Last month I went to charge it and the needle won't move on my charger. After reading some of the posts here, I checked all my connections and made sure my batteries were strong enough for the charger to recognize and pretty much concluded that my OBC was bad. I went into the charger and bypassed the relay. I plugged it in and the charger came on. It seemed to take longer than usual but I was willing to live with it because I was just coming out of Christmas and wasn't ready to buy the OBC. I have only ridden the cart once since then but due to the length of time and the recent low temps in NC I decided to put it back on the charger. Now the charger doesn't come on. The cart has plenty of juice and runs fine. Could my issue be something other than the OBC? I'm ready to buy now but don't want to replace parts just to replace parts. My # is A9939-808480. It is a 48 volt cart. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

The charger is still bypassed? If it is and the batteries want charge you have something wrong in the cart or the fuse is blown.

This is one of those times where you should take the golf cart and battery charger to a good golf cart shop that knows about the 48 volt Club Car systems.

Are you able to borrow a friend's charger to see if THAT one works? Maybe go to a golf cart shop & leave them a deposit and use 1 of theirs?

Thanks for your input guys. I left it on the charger overnight and when I went out there this morning the meter was actually up a few bars. Maybe it didn't need all the charge I thought it did? This weekend I'll see if I can get a loaner charger. In the meanwhile, let's say it did charge last night. How can I check the OBC? Thanks again!
