My Tuff One

Hi all,
This is my Ezgo tuff one, in about 2005 we got it for free from a good friend that ran the maintenance dept at a local golf course. It had been in a wreck and the front axle was badly bent, it wouldnt move, but it did run, and leaked oil out of every possible orfice.
These days its powered by a 21hp B&S, has home made front drop axle and rear lift kit, home brew front windscreen/windshield, 22x12 tires, on Vampire wheels.
It works great for the occasional yard work, and the wife and son love cruising around town in it.

A look at the rear suspension drop and engine cradle.

I used the stock muffler can, cut it in half, torched out the insides, seperated the two halves with sheet metal, welded together, and added homemade fiberglass packed tips, it has a nice deep dual sound. I didnt want to use so much flex pipe but after sliding the motor forward for a belt adjustment, im glad it was there.

Obviously most of the cart is modified with homemade parts. But seems to be holding together just fine.
I also had the stock clutch machined to fit the motor. And so far this seems to be my biggest disappointment, :wallbash:clutching will be the next area of improvement.

The Mustang looks great also from what I can see of it.
Thanks, lol, but its not looking so great right now. It's in the middle of a major repair. Im replacing ALL the sheet metal between the door strikers back to the tail lights, and changing out the old leaf spring suspension to 4 link with adjustable coilovers. And re gear the rearend. Holy smokes. Now thats a job...20181223_191628.jpg

Here is what I did for the wiring on my motor. This way I don't have to unhook all the different wires. One plug and wiring is un hooked. It was a rats nest before.

Lol, if i started posting on my projects im afraid I wouldnt get anything done.20190614_205554.jpg
One of my other side projects photobombing, my AM General, M35A2C, 2 1/2 ton, multifuel, AKA Deuce and a half. Doing a insulated fiberglass camper conversion on her.
If I had to choose what toy to keep, then the 6x6 stays. Puts a smile on yer face everytime.:)
