My Club Car Just Stopped Running

Have used Club Cart...probably 10 years old. Playing yesterday and pushed pedal and nothing..no F or R. I'm not mechanical and thunder storm was at hand so we just got it pushed on my trail I just happened to have with me since I had jsut picked up a 12 ft gate for barn. Cart had hesitated once or twice before moving earlier that day but it "caught" and moved on previoyusly. Now when you push the pedal ...NOTHING. My buddy was checking the battery cables and they semed OK except somewhat corroded. Made no sound when pedal pushed.

So what do I need to look for ...and where do I look/determine what is the guilty?non-functioning part???

Thanks

start with basics, battery voltage and voltage under load.........than cables get them clean and tight at connectios...............very important they are clean tight and have water.....................from there jack rear of cart up and jump solenoid..............if you have the 36 volt 5 soleniod cart its the solenoid furthest left drivers side.........get a 6 gage peice of cable and jump the large post on that solenoid, turn key on put in gear and press pedal if cart starts running replace that solenoid and your good to go but make sure you take care of the basics 1st as 1 loose dirty battery connection will bring the cart to a halt................................
