Multipurpose tires for a multipurpose cart

I will be lifting my cart and also fabricating some accessories to better utilize it. I want to use it around the house with a cargo basket and also add some seats. I also want to be able to take it to the course and play a round of golf. Trouble is most of these accessories require I make a comittment of bolting it down. I have devised a plan to work around this and will post more once I get it ironed out.

My main concern right now is tire selection. I will use my cart around my land around 75% of the time. I really like the look of the lifted carts with the aggressive all terrain tires. These would be the best option for roaming around my dirt roads.

However, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out they would not be welcomed at the course.

Does anyone have suggestions for something that can do both? Id hate to resort to having two sets of tires and wheels. While swapping out would take minimal time with a floor jack and air tools, Im not particularly found of spending the money. (nor can I really justify the expense)

Thanks for the help.

I'm a big fan of the Alltrails. Around here some golf courses allow them and some don't. Some golf courses won't allow a lifted cart at all regardless of tires.
I'd check with the course(s) you go to and see what they tell you.

Rules are rules but... The height of my cart is detrimental to the turf how? I've played plenty of places where they do not allow personal carts but Im suprised to hear I might not be able to use my cart cause I lifted it a few inches. That's a real

I hear you. I'm not a golfer but I deal with several courses and a couple of them won't allow carts with lifts. I've asked why and they say because it increases the chance of the cart tipping over.

I was thinking that with that higher center of gravity, in a corner you but more weight on the outside edge of your outboard tire. You can do a lot of damage to the grass on a freshly watered course. And, on a golf course, grass is what it is all about.

I think its called GolfCartTirestore.com

They have tires under 12" larger tires and wheels called "General Purpose" tires. These tires basically look like they what traditionaly comes on riding lawn tractors and often are referred to a DOt acceptable and also course acceptable. They dont have an aggressive tread, but more so than a stock cart tires. They were refeered to me and I was told they last very long, and do quite well off road with the exception of deep mud. I like them because they come is so many different sizes including 23" 24" and 26 ". Me Im thining for my CC going with their 24x14-12 on the back and the 23x9.5-12 on the front. Anyway just a suggestion for an all purpose course acceptable tire. Good luck.
