motor for pargo cart

I have what I believe is a 1958 pargo. It has 3 wheels and 7 solonoids. I believe the motor is gone. All solonoids work and I have proper voltage going to the motor. I guess my question is two fold: Do they rebuild these motors or sell them new and where do I even begin to look for one? The motor is a G.E. and has a prt plate on it that is legible...Thanks!!

The motor should be able to be rebuilt. EMP Golf Cart Motors should be able to rebuild it. Are you sure its bad? You can test it without taking it off the cart with a 12 volt battery or a 12 volt 15 amp+ battery charger.

Pretty sure it is bad. I had someone helping, that was a little more knowledgeable than me, and they tested the voltage going to the motor as I stepped on the pedal..
