just installed new motor, controller, solenoid, hd fnr switch, and cables for more torque. is there some way i can increase the speed of this cart? it is a 1992 36 volt ezgo marathon.

What model motor did you go with? The only way to get more speed on a series cart is either motor, gears, or more voltage.

Good question, im not sure what model it was but i ordered the kit from buggiesunlimited, it is a 14 horse motor, 700 amp alltrax contorller, and 400 amp solenoid, with 4 gauge cables. So this model doesnt have a chip? Dont think i want to tackle the other options you mentioned right now, the torque kit set me back $1250

I'm not sure who makes the motors BU is selling now but it sounds like it's a motor wound for torque. The only options for speed are what I mentioned in the last post...
