monster cart

the kids would like to build a moster cart with at least 30'' truck tires. have a couple questions.
1st can i buy the wheel adapters to recieve a 5 lug wheel or do i have to have some make them? the lift kit, the kids want to build it themselve,they want to fab it and weld it. so looking for the somthing eazy more safe then easy can we weld up a couple 4'' economy lifts to get the 8 to 12 '' we need for the tires? questions question please they want this so bad. any info would be helpful...... we are useing a 2006 pds cart ezgo

30" tire diameter is a real stretch for these carts and you may be starting with the wrong type of cart.
IMO you need to be using something like a D394 high torque series motor for this application and a large 500 amp+ controller with 2ga or larger cables.
My thoughts would be to sell the PDS cart for $2500 and look for a $1200 series cart to base your build on.

I agree with Doug. A PDS cart isn't the best choice to put 30" tires on.

thanks for the info, should, i just keep it as a dcs? itp has a 27'' tire lite mud for a 12'' rim. would that be better, and if i welded 2 of buggies ecom lifts together that would get us up to 8''. i know you guys think we are crazy, but the cart is more for show then it is for driving around. everyone has 4'' lifts and 22'' tires we'd like to double it if we could. thanks for the info. have all the respect in the world for you guys...

Dunno about that, mine will climb straight up a 90 degree wall and has 27s.

If you are interested in a High Toruqe - Series wound motor I have one for sale. 36 or 48 volt, extremly high tourque!!!12 hp on 48volt

I would say go with 27's thats what I am running and they are perfect but i dont know about having a 8 inchs of block under it.

Been running 27's for a while on a DCS cart...NO PROBLEM....
