HOPE SOMEBODY ANSWERS THIS, I HAVEN''T HAD ANY LUCK WITH MY OTHER POSTS EXCEPT ONE answered BY THE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE DIRTYSOUTH, OMNIPOTENT SAVIOUR OF THIS SITE. Does anyone OUT THERE know IF wIth a 6 inch over axle LIFT on a club car DS Gas do I have to get brake braCket extentions??. I'm 3/4 OF THE WAY done wiith the back (after sawzalling the godforsaken front leaf spring bolts off) and the brake lines seem to short. Do I need to rotate the axle which leads me to my next question- how? Or do I just wait a week for the brakets to arrive by FedEx? I was told they should work just fine. Cant wait to do the A-ARM. Unhook the brake cables form the hangers under the batteries and the cables should be long enough. If they're still to short (they should be long enough) you'll need the extensions. I thought I had mentioned that in one of your other posts/threads but when there's several threads about the same problem with your cart it's hard to keep track...

Didnt mean to upset you, I apologize about the "several of teh same posts", but I still dont see that answer. Most likely the problem here lies in the fact that I'm being forced to use an older Mac with 4.0 leopard operating system some of the functios dont seem to work, as my good G4 is getting cleaned up. I already tried the hangers and no luck. I take it you dont know how to rotae the axle which they mention breifly in the very limited direction? I wont bother ya again. Hittman

I've heard of swapping the backing plates side to side and it will make the brake cable connect at the top instead of the bottom. I've never had to this with a 6" lift but it's a option.

The only lift we use extensions on are the 10". The cable hangers on the front spring mounts need to be discarded, make sure your hill brake is disengaged and you should be fine.
