I am rebuilding a late 96 CC 48v and my three wire potentiometer is bad and i would like to know if it is worth the extra money to go with the mcor? The cart has a 6" jakes lift ,23" tires, H.D solenoid and will be installing a D & D high torque motor and a 500 amp controller. Also, will i have to run a H.D. forward and reverse switch?

I'd stick with the potentiometer. A HD forward and reverse switch would be a good idea with the high torque motor.
