Mardi Car 1965 Gas Golf Car New Addition to the Fleet

Just purchased off face book market, rare, nearby find $100. 1965 Mardi-Car 3 wheel golf car. Researched online, not much about them to be found. Built by Mardigian Corp., Detroit, Michigan. Founder was Edward Mardigian. They manufactured these cars in gas or electric configurations, tiller or steering wheel. This car is equipped with the Kohler K181 cast iron engine with original oil bath air cleaner and a DuraMatic Transaxle model 20p. Already in the works for this car, new brake master with remote reservoir, new front tire, complete overhaul of the Ross steering box (frozen). A-zon Chinese copy of the carb $20, eBay orig carb $300. Engine turns free, starter/gen sent out for repair. Current goal is to make it roll, steer and stop. Driving may take a while. In the process of moving so have to park it next to the others. Anyone with build data or year identification please message me. Lots of pic’s coming.

Update, steering box is on the bench, it's supposed to be full of grease, full of many years of dust and rust instead. The box cover had a crack allowing water in. Got the shaft out with no trouble. Steering worm gear is still froze. I have more disassembly to do. I have a new front tire to put on the original rim. I installed some yamaha 4 lug rollors on the rear.
