Limit straps are used to controll the amount of rebound your suspension has. With most lifted carts the suspension acts like a pogo stick. It will propel the cart into the air after the compression of the springs is released. Your shocks controll the speed of the rebound but will still let the suspension travel farther than it needs to. As you know when your cart is in the air its very hard to get traction for turning or stopping.
