What second switch?? There are a lot of different applications on how this is done! Are you doing this your self or did you buy the kit from someone?
I am doing this myself, got the kit without instructions. two microswitches are in the harness. i connected the first to the brake pedal with a bracket supplied that switches the brake light on when depressed, the second is supposed to cut the brake light once park is engaged but i can not determine how this should be connected to the bodywork since no other bracket was supplied?

If you want you can use just the one micro if you cant find a good spot to mount the other one. Just use a light switch if you park your cart for a while to power down the circuit so your lights don't stay on. I dunno that what I have done in the past. Or you can go out and get a 12v 30-60 second timer.
