I have a 2003 48 Volt Club Car. The fellow I bought it from had installed a 12 volt light. I had some repair on the cart and "they" diconnected the lights. There was no converter for the 12 volt light and now I am wondering how the prior owner had it connected to the batteries. I connected it to one 8 volt battery but it was way dim. Before it was disconnected it was super bright. I know it was not possible for it to pull the full 48 volts so is there a secret I am not aware of? The headlight was a Peterson 507 12 volt light and is fairly common. Any help is appreciated.
