MYTH- When lifting your cart, check the engine oil level before you lift it. Once lifted, check the oil level again. Because of the new tilt of the engine, the level will change. This in the new level it should be kept at.
FACT- With the tilt of the engine, Club Cars run into the problem now of the oil light coming on when driving at higher speeds. With the block tilted, it takes away oil from the sensor and the oil light comes on easier. I have ran into this problem and the FACT is, when you lift your cart, check the engine oil and top it back off to the full line on the dip stick. I have done this on my one 92 FE290 for 2 years and have had no problems with the extra oil in the case. You dont have to add that much more anyway. About 6-8oz. extra.
