Key switch replacement

Hello, I am totally rebuilding a 96 48 volt CC and the key switch is gone and the battery light that is on the dash is broke. My question is, can i use a regular switch or another type of key switch instead of having to buy a 48 volt CC switch and is there any other options for the battery light? Any help would be appreciated.

keyswitch for that cart is cheap and easy to install, to put a different one in i,m not certain about the wiring as for the battery light again very cheap and easy..............i would go with a C.C. keyswitch there are 2 different types so get the right one.................................................
