Kawasaki Won't Start After Washing

I accidentally let some water get through the air filter and into the carburetor on the Kawasaki V-Twin conversion golf cart while washing it. I pulled the air filter off and wiped all of the water I could reach out of the carb before trying to start it. Went to crank it and it won't start. I'm going to pull the carb off and give it a thorough cleaning. Is there anything else I should try also?

Try pulling the spark plugs and cranking it over to blow the water out of the cylinders. Make sure there's no water in the oil.

Check the oil. I'm flushing a quad this evening that my son swamped in a creek on Saturday. The carb and oil is full of water. Quads do float....barely...
