K & N drop in air filters

I have a 2002 gas DS. Has anyone tried the K&N drop in air filter. They are expensive
but if they give any extra horsepower I would spend the money. Any help is appreciated.

K&N produces no more HP, IMO a complete waste of money.
If you consider a lighter wallet a way to gain speed, go for it.
