Getting together a little fun run on Friday night - June 17th at Ozark Raceway Park. Not sanctioned by anyone or any organization. Anyone that wants to come up can run. We will do a little bracket racing and throw a little money in for prize $. Can enter the money event or just run for fun. We will run with the friday TNT.

Well this one is in my backyard... Five hour drive to Plano to drop the wife off to visit with the grandchild & another five-hour drive to the track... Will there be over night parking or a park close to spend the night??

Ok I have look at the web site of the track... I assume it is a 1/8-mile... But I can’t find it stating that to be a fact. Does it say & I just missed it..... JD are you going to try & have the pot worked out be for the race or will we aunty up that night at the track... Will this be all bracket racing or will there be any heads up in the 48-& 72- volt class...

So trail riding or racing. I think racing will be more fun for my son. At what age can they race on their own? My nieghbor is helping us with our cart. We gps it at 23 mph. Is that fast enough to race or should we try the roady boost? Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply. Work is nuts. I will check on age, overnight accomodations, etc by the end of the week and post. It is an 1/8th. Not knowing who will be there, I will wait till the day of the event to get the pot worked up. Closer to race time we will get a head count and I will put together a double elimination "bracket". Anyone who wants to race heads up, we will put together a gamblers race.

I don't think we will have enought people to run seperate classes.

Thanks JD...

AE welcome to cartaholics... I would say your 23mph cart will do just fine for bracket racing.. Roadys boost is more for fun than racing....

Nubs... Roadys boost is a controller bypass... It will allow you to run your cart on 36-volts off the controller...Plus it will allow you to send another say 100-volts around the controller & straight to the motor.... With the controllers that we have today it is much safer to go with one that can handle the total voltage than to go with the bypass... Just my

Track opens the gates at 5:00 on Friday. The owner said we could park in the front lot if anyone arrives Thursday night. He could open the gates early friday for us as well.

Helmet and valid drivers license required to run. A release form must be signed at the gate.

Owner is looking forward to seeing us up there. Hopefully we will have a few carts and put on a good show.

Anyone heard from Walkin Tall lately? We need him up there.

Hey Jamond. You snuck up on me. Get your cart in the event. I know alot of the racers have carts, put the word out in the next few weeks for them to join us.

Thanks!

Jamond. Hello. This will be my first race at a track with a golf cart. Will there be electricity or will we need to bring a generator? And if so can anyone tell me what size I will need to charge a 48volt battery pack. Thanks.

Usually there is no power available. If you have a 2000 watt generator, that should run your charger fine.
