hi,need some advise please , i have a 1996 club car gas ds model i need to know if i can change the battery from the stock small battery to a regular car battery is still 12 volts but more cranking amps , the reason why i am doing this is because i run headlghts,taillights, am/fm/cd/player, underground lights, i also have a relay switch . please let me know asap. thanxs have @ great day

Yes you can. As long as the new battery fits in the same place & hooks up
the same way you will be find. After you install the new battery run the cart
in the maintainance mode, with a volt meter across the terminals to make sure
the charging system is working properly. Output should be about 14.3 - 14.7
volts.
