ITS Testing Procedure?

Is there anyway to check a ITS switch that is out of a cart besides putting it in a cart and see if it works? Just wondering, I have one that I have no idea where it came from.

Well if you run across it would you please post it. I really don't want to pull the floor up just to see if it works.

Here's what you do. You have to have into the cart!
I know I got your hopes up for nothing!!

For a DCS/PDS:

1. make sure that you have 14v in on the white wire.
2. with a v meter check the black (out wire) when the solenoid engages you should have .9v, and whith the pedal all the way down you should reach 2.9v.

For a series:

1. make sure that you have 14v in on the black wire.
2. with a v meter check the white (out wire) when the solenoid engages you should have .5, and whith the pedal all the way down you should reach 1.5v.

Thats the only way you can test it. Sorry I was thinking of testing the coil with an ohm meter.

Thanks Guy's I guess I'll wait until I have a cart that needs to be looked at. I just can't see pulling the floor up to test it!!
