Is This EZGO Marathon a Good Deal Or Not?

Hello all,

I was looking to buy a golf cart sometime soon, and i found this EZGO model at the local boat shop for sale. It an EZGO cart with a bunch of extra's ( CD player, neon lights, front lights, lifted with wheels and tires, the guy also said that it's been modified to top out at 30 mph.) the guy didnt know the year of the cart , but i looked on ebay and found a 1993 model that looks pretty similiar. it has a 2 stroke engine and appeared to run and look good. i was wanting to know if theres anything negative about this thing and if it would be a pretty reliable cart? The guy wanted $2500, is that a good deal. I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics. Also what ratio would you run the gas/oil mixture in a early 90's ezgo.

I fixed your pictures.
I have to agree and say that's about a $1500.00 cart. Keep looking and for that kind of money you should be able to find a nice TXT with a 4 stroke...

So that's what happened HRC! I started loading them into a new post (I can follow a jumbled-up URL with the best of them) and when I posted them, his were fixed. WTH?

Now I know what happened!

I don't know what kind of lift there is on that cart, but there must be close to $500 in wheels and tires there. You would not have a bad cart if you could do something about that yellow and blue pipe.

Maybe $2,000 and do some work on it.

Is it possible to actually polish a turd?

There, I said it.

Keep looking Platinum421, that's not the cart for you. My .02
