I recently purchased a used Hyundai gas golf cart in very good condition. It has front lights and front parking lights & rear taillights. When the front lights are on, the front parking lights are also on. Thus, when I flick the toggle switch for the lights on the steering column, all six lights are on at the same time - thus everything is wired in series. I tried installing turn indicators yesterday and now when I flick the turn indicator lever down (no matter left or right turn of course) everything turns on and off as in emergency lights on a car. I can not get just the front parking lights and rear lights (not the headlights also) to blink just on the one side for right or left turns only - all six lights are blinking at the same time. I followed the directions that came with the golf cart lights for installation. I also found numerous wiring diagrams for Hyundai gas golf carts, but none showed all six lights in the wiring. The diagrams showed only one each of the parking, rear, and headlights, not the wires going to all six lights to better help me understand how they are wired. Any help would be appreciated in how to wire this golf cart so just the correct lights on one side would blink (and not all six at the same time) and the headlights would not blink - and the light switch would still allow me to turn on all six lights when I wanted the lights at night. Thank you for anticipated assistance.
