Installed lift, steering problem

I installed a Lift kit (not jakes but free) and now my steering is messed up I can't turn sharp right but real sharp left but when I unhook the bar that comes out if the rack and pinion will go all the way in.

Hmmm...I'm having a hell of a time trying to make the same lift kit work too. My cart won't turn sharp to the right but it does to the left like yours. I know the problem with mine is due to the 2" extension plate I have installed in addition to the lift which moves the front end forward. A design flaw they need to correct or make note of for people buying it is that you have to flip the control arms over and so now the shock mounts on the opposite side. The spindle steering bracket now hits the shock nut limiting the steering towards the right. That's fine with me, the worse problem is the steering is extremely tight!!

I can't tell what's wrong with yours though. Maybe someone with more Club Car experience will chime in.

Every spindle lift that I have installed requires fliping the upper control arms, putting the shock in the rear. Spacers and longer bolts were included in the kit to do this. This is on a LAconcepts lift

Well I don't see what would be causing these problems. Can you look at these pictures and check if there's anything you see wrong?

Good range of steering to the left.

Horrible steering to the right.
MVC-002S-1.jpg

Close tie rod rubs on frame.
MVC-004S-2.jpg

Added spacers to prevent the rod from bending over the frame when nobody was in the cart.
MVC-005S-2.jpg

Spindle steering bracket hitting the lower shock mount when turned to the right.
MVC-006S-2.jpg

MVC-008S-1.jpg

No apparent bends in the factory suspension components that I can see that would cause these wacky problems.

Frame looks perfectly straight.

What kind of lift is this? Did you buy the lift new? If so I'd be calling and asking about all the clearance problems. Either it's a bogus lift or something isn't installed right.

Is the spindle hitting the shock mount what's keeping it from turning farther? The drag link is way to close to the frame even with the spacer. I wouldn't use the cart with that setup. As soon as you start hitting bumps the drag link is going to cause problems being that close.

With that much angle on the rack it's going to be hard to steer because the rack is not pulling straight it's pulling up

I've never seen a lift that had clearance problems in so many places. The drag link shouldn't be anywhere close to the frame and it wont turn to the right very well because of the angle that the rack is having to pull, the geometry just isn't right. The rack shouldn't be angled down to the spindle like it is, it should be pretty level. The monting points on the spindles are just way to low.
